The Skye Bridge connects the Isle of Skye to the mainland and replaced the ferry service in 1995. It spans the Kyle of Lochalsh and is 500 meters long, offering spectacular views of the surrounding scenery. The Skye Bridge Lighthouse at the foot of the bridge offers a fantastic opportunity for photographs on a summer evening. We are only a few minutes down the road.
TORABHAIG DISTILLERY
Torabhaig Distillery is one of the newest distilleries on the Isle of Skye, having opened its doors to the public in 2017. The distillery is located in the south of the island, close to the Sound of Sleat, and produces a unique style of whisky. The distillery is open to visitors, who can take a tour and learn about the distillation process, the history of the site, and of course, enjoy some samples of the whisky.

Located just a short drive from the Red Skye Restaurant, Eilean Donan Castle is one of Scotland’s most famous landmarks. Built in the 13th century on a small island at the confluence of three lochs, it was partially destroyed during the Jacobite uprising but restored in the early 20th century. It’s open for public tours and is one of Scotland’s most popular castles.
ARMADALE CASTLE
Located in the south of the Isle of Skye, Armadale Castle is a historic castle with beautiful gardens. It was the seat of the Macdonalds of Sleat for centuries and is now a popular tourist attraction. The gardens are a highlight, restored to their former glory. The castle also hosts events throughout the year, including concerts, theatre productions, and exhibitions.
